Nvidia Earnings Top Expectations as AI Demand Drives Record Revenue
nvidia(NVDA) reported fourth fiscal fourth quarter earnings that exceeded analyst expectations AI Sales and sales are rising.
The chip maker released record quarterly revenue of $39.33 billion, up 78% year-on-year and above is a visible analyst consensus on Alpha. Adjusted net income was $22.07 billion, up 72% from the same period last year, with the highest expectations.
Sales in the NVIDIA data center segment represent the majority of chipmaker revenue, nearly doubled to a record $35.6 billion.
“We have successfully improved the mass production of Blackwell AI supercomputers, achieving multi-billion-dollar sales in the first quarter,” CEO Jensen Huang said in a press release.
Looking ahead, NVIDIA forecasts fiscal first-quarter revenue of $43 billion, plus 2%. Analysts have been looking for $421.1 billion.
NVIDIA’s stock has little change in extended trading following the news. Over the past 12 months, they have added more than two-thirds of their value by the end of Wednesday.
