Acer Swift 14 AI: Two Minutes of Comments
So many laptops are currently hitting the scene. Macro Throw its hat with Acer Swift 14 AI. This powerful laptop almost immediately left me out of my footsteps and is likely a competitor to one of the best laptops on the market right now.
Have gorgeous people OLED Screen, the visuals I get when watching videos or editing pictures shock me. You can also get good battery life, followed by some juice left in the tank. While it didn’t reach the 17 hours Acer claimed, it was close at 14 hours. I have some problems with the design because it feels a little clumsy, but this is something you may not notice unless you are looking for the problem specifically.
Priced at $1,199/£899/AU $1,899 (currently for sale in the UK), this laptop is more expensive, and the same alternatives revolve around this price point. But when considering the price for sale, I’m really glad you’re able to get a laptop of this quality from hardware and performance for less than £900 ($1,200).

The Acer Swift 14 AI costs $1,199/£1,199/AU $1,899, which is definitely not a budget-friendly choice for laptops, but for this price point you get some really good specs. You can currently receive it in most regions. Currently for sale in Currys, UK Intel The version is more expensive, with a higher price of £899. On the US side of the map, you can AmazonBest Buy, Newegg and other similar retailers.
Alternatives on the market include the Asus Zenbook A14, which has similar specifications and has an OLED screen. However, it costs $1,399.99. Another option is apple The MacBook Air 2024 Edition has an M3 chip for $1,199. This makes Acer Swift 14 AI a great choice for receiving when selling, but the value is still good when it isn’t.

You can get Intel or Qualcomm versions of Acer Swift 14 AI. In the UK, that’s the same price, but the sale on curry is only available for the Intel version, which does make Qualcomm more expensive. In other parts of the world, you will also spend more on the Qualcomm version because it can provide more power. All the remaining specifications are the same.

As of now, you can’t configure these specifications, but considering that everything except the processor is the same, it seems you don’t need it. Acer website does point out that this laptop comes with up to 32GB of RAM, and it is suggested that other configurations may be in progress.
Acer Swift 14 AI: Design
When I first unboxed Acer Swift 14 AI, I was a little overwhelmed. Despite its high quality and a solid chassis, there are no special flares in terms of design. It weighs 1.28 kg (2.82 lbs), which is definitely lightweight, but not the lightest option on the market, while the Asus Zenbook 14 costs less than kg (2.2 lbs).
What especially makes me angry when using this laptop is that the edges aren’t getting around correctly, which makes it feel a little clumsy. You will also find a slightly thicker bezel around the webcam, subtracting from the smoothness of the design. However, the Acer Swift 14 AI is 1.49 cm (0.59 inches) thick, keeping it smaller. It’s easy to stick to your backpack or sleeve and go with you.
You can use two USB-C ports for charging. You will also get two USB-A ports, thanks a lot. As someone who uses a range of peripherals, whether it’s a USB headset, keyboard, mouse, or an extra monitor, I’ve found that there are enough ports to use this laptop as part of my workstation. You will also get an HDMI port.
The chassis of this laptop is made of metal instead of plastic, just like some other lightweight alternatives that can make people feel more advanced. The keyboard is very low and can satisfy the keyboard. You will find that the keys are the same texture as other laptops, rather than made of plastic, which again contributes to a higher quality feel.

Acer Swift 14 AI: Performance
Using the Acer Swift 14 AI does feel like a step forward with the Asus Zenbook A14 I just tested, but the expected £200. Using it on the go isn’t as satisfying as my typical MacBook Air, though it’s similar in size and weight and feels a little clumsy when you put it in my bag.
I was shocked by the screen when I started up my laptop. The 2K OLED panel is very beautiful and will give you a great experience when watching videos or movies. For creatives who design graphic or video assets, it is amazing to see the screen bring your creations to life through colors. Since most laptops are able to deliver excellent performance, they now have to stand out in other features, and the OLED screen does a great job.

While this laptop isn’t for intensive tasks, I still test it. Things like basic photos and video editing of residence Photoshop and Adobe The Premiere Pro works absolutely well, and although the Premiere Pro does feel a little dull, it is by no means unavailable. Tax 3D animation is certainly not on the table, but it’s perfectly OK to use this laptop to get standard everyday productivity.
I must have tried multitasking here too, while opening up a range of programs, which to my surprise is that even with only 16GB of RAM, it’s very functional. Even in a video call, PowerPoint can be created and watched videos, and the laptop has no stutter at all. It felt like a nice upgrade to my old MacBook Air, and when I opened the second Chrome tab, it immediately started to grumble.
Even with this laptop on the go, it’s still very quiet, which is great. One of my biggest fears is starting my MacBook on the train, it sounds like a rocket and I never had to worry about Acer Swift 14 AI.
Of course, you can also get the benefits of a secondary copper+ with this laptop, but for me it is no longer a great feature, but it is expected.

Acer Swift 14 AI: Battery Life
When using Acer Swift 14 AI in my daily life, I found battery life commanders impressed. This is not a device you don’t have to charge for a few days, but you can certainly spend a full workday and still have some batteries left at the end of the day.
Acer claims this laptop has 17 hours of battery life, and our tests are very close…but without cigars, during 14 hours of continuous video playback – obviously not how many people use their device base every day.

How do I test Acer Swift 14 AI
I spent two weeks using Acer Swift 14 AI as my laptop for working and leisure every day. I will definitely use the device all day on a typical weekday and then watch videos, movies and browse social media at night. I went to different locations with me where I needed to work to see what it felt outside of the workstation. In addition to using it every day, I also tested my laptop with a range of different benchmark software.
