Moeen Ali to miss The Hundred and play T20 Blast before retiring
Former England all-rounder Moeen Ali will retire from county cricket this summer after playing for the Birmingham Bears in the T20 blast.
The 37-year-old Warwickshire deal is due in July and he hopes to play in the role of player coaching.
However, he decided not to show Birmingham Phoenix this summer in one hundred Birmingham Phoenix.
Moen He ended his international career last year After participating in 68 Tests, 138 ODIs and 92 T20 international competitions.
“It was a big decision for me, not a decision I could easily make,” he said.
“I’m still passionate about the game and I love being in a team environment. I also love talking to the players about cricket, tactics, and I think that will help me coach smoothly after the game.
“I will play throughout the Blast group game and hope to be involved as a player coach.”
