The OURA Ring is my favorite smart ring because its app is easy to understand and I love some of the newer features in its latest software updates. The website says the smart ring costs $299 and is composed of aviation-grade titanium (one of the strongest materials on Earth). Before receiving my outa ring, I was sent out a ring to figure out my ring size. The same goes for other smart rings, as each brand has different sizes.
After receiving the URA ring, I downloaded the OURA app (available for iOS and Android). If you have menstruation and want to track your cycle, OURA will track this information. It also provides a period forecast window for when you expect the next period. So far this is accurate to me – even if there are some missed time. It also provides pregnancy insights if you are pregnant.
If you own an iPhone, you can allow OURA to integrate and share data with other apps like Apple Health, Strava, Wild AI, Cronometer, Noom, Noom, Zero, Headpace, Headspace, Natural Cycles, Surcles, Clue, and Flo App. This is another area where I think OURA has a chance to expand its integration. New parents are known to be often the least sleepy parents, and in all the different Wi-Fi-powered baby monitors there, it’s great to connect with OURA to target this kind of crowd. If ORA can find their sleep interrupted by crying babies, it may provide parents with their own unique data and advice.
You don’t want to deal with the ring roughly. Because of the shiny exterior, it is easy to scratch or scratch. As I’ve already mentioned, I don’t like the fitness tracking aspect of any smart ring, and that’s part of the reason. Usually, if you want to outline your health data, OURA will do a great job of sculpting it into an easy-to-read app and following the app. I realize that at $300 (plus $6 per month membership), it’s not the cheapest wearable, but depending on your health insights, it might be worth it.
