Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says club won’t give up on Premier League title race
Gunners owner Mikel Arteta said Arsenal will not stop fighting for the Premier League title despite falling behind Liverpool 11 points.
The Spaniard admitted that West Ham’s 1-0 defeat on Saturday was “a tough guy”, but any idea of giving up the chase was “my body.”
“It is mathematically possible,” he added.
“Three days ago we could close the gap and you were like ‘You’re a half distance game’.
“The difficulty is higher than three days ago, but if you are going to win the Premier League, you have to do something special.
“If you intend to win the Premier League in this case, you probably have to do something that no one else has done in Premier League history.”
