Abia State Steals Spotlight at Inaugural Sports African Investment Summit (SAIS): Signs Agreement with Sport Nigeria Ltd to Manage Sports Special Economic Zone
The first release #sportsafricainvestmentsummit ((#SAIS2025) provides two days of dialogue, trading and action-oriented discussions that lay the foundation for accelerating investment in African sports.
Vice Chairman of Sports Nigeria John Naikori ((https://apo-opa.co/4gw9c9p), published a welcome address, setting the tone for the summit, which integrates key stakeholders into sports, business and governance. CEO Sport Nigeria Ltd/GTE ((https://apo-opa.co/4gw9c9p), coward ((https://apo-opa.co/4gw9c9p), set the agenda for the summit. Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, delivered a keynote speech:Sports serves as a catalyst for Africa by 2063.
The summit hosted three plenary sessions, a fire chat and 18 breakthrough sessions, with various fascinating topics focused on how Africa creates a market for sports goods and services, how to develop ideal products that fit the market and how to develop markets that can be created for and funding for product development activities.
Two main highlights at the summit were the signing of technical and collaborative agreements Abia State Government ((https://apo-opa.co/4gw9c9p) and Sport Nigeria Ltd/GTE ((https://apo-opa.co/4gw9c9p) is the development of the Abia State Sports Special Economic Zone (#ssez), and the presentation of motion space (#S4S), Nigeria Sports’ community-based flagship infrastructure project.
