Girl, 3, killed in crash between tram and van | Global News Avenue

Police said a three-year-old girl was killed in a crash between a van and a tram.

The Greater Manchester Police Department (GMP) said the girl died of injuries after the crash in the city center of Manchester.

The troops confirmed that the child was a pedestrian and did not travel by tram or van.

GMP said no arrests have been made.

After a collision from Mosley Street near Manchester Art Gallery, the roads were closed and public transport services were cancelled.

The unit advised commuters to “a long closure on the surrounding streets near St. Peter’s Square.”
