Germany’s rival political leaders will be driven by a push that reflects the key nature of Sunday’s election, not only against their country, but also across Europe.

Conservative leader Friedrich Merz told supporters that under his leadership, Germany will take responsibility in Europe, while Germany’s (AFD) far-right alternative will once again delegate it to politics profit.

He will end his Christian Democratic campaign at a rally in Munich, while his rivals will make a final appeal with voters in the TV’s “speed dating” program.

For months, German politics has been paralyzed by the collapse of the previous government.

Now, hopefully across Europe, this vote will bring some certainty to the EU’s largest democracies and their largest economies, which strive to get rid of the ongoing recession.

Nothing will change overnight. There will be weeks to rule without forming alliances.

Restoring the economy has always been one of the two major issues in the campaign. The other is immigration and security, which has been pushed to German politicians through a series of deadly attacks since May 2024.

The cities of Mannheim, Solingen, Magdeburg, Akaffenburg and Munich were all severely attacked.

All the so-called attackers are immigrants, and the AFD under Alice Weidel’s leadership increased anti-immigration information with nationalists by about 20% in polls.

She called on young voters on social media to lead the Tiktok competition with 866,000 followers. She is also supported by billionaire Elon Musk and U.S. Vice President JD Vance, who are accused of interfering in the German campaign.

The AFD talks about securing German borders and deported immigrants who are illegal and criminal. But she uses the term “immigration,” which is also related to mass deportation.

In Solingen, a Syrian was accused of stabbing three people to death in August last year, and hundreds of people yelled out on Friday night against the rise to the far right.

“We have a lot of friends who grew up in Germany,” said Natalie, 35.

The protests were heavily present during the protests, and a police union spokesman said Friday that the attack was intended to undermine democracy and stability.

All mainstream parties have ruled out cooperation with AFP in government, but if the poll exceeds 20%, they can double their seats to reach a parliament with 630 seats.

Merz’s most likely partner is the Social Democrat of Prime Minister Olaf Scholz, although there may not be Scholz himself. His message to the centre-left SPD is that the final day of the campaign begins with every vote, and if the Germans want a strong government, they need a strong SPD.

Social Democrats ranked third in the polls, but Scholz will be counting on an estimated one in five undecided voters who may make a big difference.

Friedrich Merz was relaxed and confident when he appeared on stage this week in front of 1,200 supporters of Darmstadt, a technology-centric city near Frankfurt. But his message was obvious when he turned his mind to Donald Trump’s presidency.

With one hand in his pocket and the other holding the microphone, he talked about unprecedented times and the “structural transformation of the world’s center of power.”

“The political order is now falling apart. What we have been used to for decades is collapse.” He is not even sure whether the United States will join Germany to celebrate the 70 years that the summer enters NATO.

He condemned the outgoing government for failing to play a leading role in the international stage.

“The German government and the Prime Minister must finally play a leading role in Europe again. If I get elected, I will spend a large part of my time uniting this EU.”

Germans have a chance to see their political leaders beat the big problem in the TV debate almost every night, while Alice Weidel shares it with Merz and Scholz stage.

In the voting contest, she met Vice President JD Vance, who condemned German politicians for putting up a “firewall” against the far right-wing “firewall” and ignoring the “vote’s will.”

That firewall – Fire wall The Germans have remained strong since the end of the war, although Meers himself was accused of violating the war when he relied on the support of the AFD in his immigration motion last month.

He has been facing demonstrations since then and when he visited Darmstadt, he quarreled.

Annika, 29, owns a Herz Statt Merz Banner – Love Not Meles. “He said he wouldn’t do something to the far-right AFD, but his behavior contradicts what he said. I don’t believe him at all.”

Melz appears to be being vehemently protested against Stung and attempted to assure voters that there is “no tolerance, no minority government (with AFD”, no tolerance at all”.
