Tom Pidcock sprints to victory on stage two of Vuelta a Andalucia
Britain’s Tom Pidcock sprinted in the second phase of Vuelta a Andalucia, demanding his fourth win of the season.
After a sharp final climb, rider Pidcock launched Sprint with a 150m advantage, with his former Ineos Grenadiers teammate Brandon Rivera ranked second.
Another former colleague, Pavel Sivakov, now riding on the Emirates-XRG, finished third, 32 seconds ahead of Pidcock, and he was in the general classification of the five stages Up to third.
Pidcock was disappointed with the first phase of the first phase after racing “overzealously” and was very happy with his performance on Thursday.
“My game was really smart today. I didn’t have a big panic, I let the game end and it was perfect in the end. I know I was in good shape.” After the line, let go of the speed bump.

The 25-year-old has now won three separate stages of the year, as well as a general classification on the Alula Tour in Saudi Arabia.
His latest success was after he bridged to the front of the race, a powerful 133.2 km from Alcaudete to Torredelcampo, less than 40 km from the finish line, involving five people intrusion.
They comfortably blocked a group containing overnight leader Maxim Van Gils, and then Pidcock punched the style.
