Premier League predictions: Chris Sutton v singer and Newcastle fan Bradley Simpson
Manchester City basically waved the white flag at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night without Erling Haaland, so it was not a belief in Real Madrid.
Frankly, this is a one-off performance around Pep Guardiola and it really lacks intensity.
Part of Pickle City finds itself entering the way PEP is set up.
I don’t know how many times Abdukodir Khusanov has had in Right-Back before, but that’s not a lot, and Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan aren’t working in the middle midfield Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan and Nico Gonzalez. They have no legs to deal with.
As a game, it was really disappointing. Real Madrid is always a favorite, but when the city loses, you at least wish they would fight.
Instead, it ended in less than five minutes. They never believed they could win, how many times have you said to an inspiring team?
Liverpool’s time against Villa in the mid-week is tricky, but they have to think they can get it in the city as well.
Sutton’s prediction: 1-3
Bradley’s prediction: I don’t know this – it’s a huge and exciting game. Manchester City has some evidence of Liverpool, and despite their bad results for Real Madrid, they have no confidence in Newcastle. Liverpool are currently consistent, as far as not being beaten, but their form is not surprising either.
Until a few weeks ago, I could not look at the form where Liverpool was and think it all was good for them, but Manchester City is now much better than when they got lost at Anfield in December.
Manchester City will be as strong as they are against Newcastle, but if they sit down, I think Liverpool will be back in the game. I want a lottery. 2-2
