MWC 2025: What to Expect From the World’s Biggest Mobile Show
The annual Telephone Carnival, known as the Mobile World Congress, has almost reappeared on us, which will be one of the most exciting tech events of 2025.

As last year, we wanted AI to be everywhere in MWC, so you might be wondering what the hell is the new feature for 2025.
Wood said the most popular phones are often flagship models so far, but this year we should expect AI to be in a wider range of devices. “What we’re going to see is the price curve moving downwards in AI capabilities,” he said. As I mentioned, it is unlikely that it will have more standalone AI devices, but rather a continuation of the trend to embed AI into everything we already have. Chip makers such as Qualcomm will praise the benefits of “device AI” and hope to provide some exciting demonstrations that show how we might hope AI really changes and improve our technology, if not this year, in the near future, And then in the near future.
