The Merck Foundation has provided more than 2100 scholarships, doctors from 44 critical and underserved medical majors in 52 countries.

this Merck Foundation Cancer Visit Program Offers a, two- and three-year scholarship, graduate diploma and a master’s degree in oncology in African physicians. Clinical training is conducted in India, Egypt and Kenya. Other scholarships from the Merck Foundation also offer 2 years of scholarship, online PG Cancer and Clinical Oncology, 2001 Online PG Diploma in Medical Oncology and 1 Year Online PG Diploma in Pain Management from the University of South Wales, UK, Such as the University of South Wales, University of Berkinham, Queen’s University in London and Cardiff University.

Merck Foundation provides 194 Oncology scholarships to doctors from 32 countries include Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Libera, Mauritius, Mauritius, Mozambique, NAMIBI, NEPAL, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Santome and Princ, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

“In several of these countries, there is not even a single oncologist. I managed to advance from basic surgical oncology principles to advanced level. This helped me improve on cancer and an understanding of the principles of surgery. Since returning home, I have managed to change how the breast clinic runs and modify its structure to combine many new things that we might not have included. I am proud to share that I just got 2023 in Malawi Best Surgeon of the Year. I wouldn’t have achieved this feat without the Merck Foundation scholarship. I’m very grateful.”
