Trump endorses House budget plan amid competing proposals in Congress
Washington – President Trump endorsed the House Republican budget proposal that would enact trillions of dollars in spending and tax cuts in a bill and said Wednesday that he prefers the two-time competition plan for the Senate.
“We all need two chambers to ‘start’ the settlement process through the House budget and shift all our priorities to the concept of ‘a big bill’,” Mr. Trump wrote in a copy of Trump. postal About the Truth Society. “No doubt this will make America great again!”
The president praised House and Senate Republicans, who he said were doing “a unified and unparalleled joint effort.” But he said the Senate proposal would only resolve part of his agenda, while the House proposal would all be resolved. Both approaches will rely on a process known as a budget settlement that allows legislation to pass through the Senate with a simple majority.
Senate Republicans led by Senate Budget Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham have been working on a two-vote plan that has allowed Mr. Trump to extend the 2017 tax cuts to a later date for faster Address border security and defense priorities in the region. But House Republicans argued that the mistake of passing two legislation was even greater given the narrow Republican majority in the House of Commons.

Mr. Trump’s announcement comes after Senate Majority Leader John Thune said the Senate will make a proposal to the Senate this week on a Senate proposal after the House and the Senate brought its resolutions to the committee’s committee last week. The Senate has delayed the House for weeks to start the process, but has begun moving forward earlier this month.
The president’s recognition is after a few months of going back and forth on the road ahead. Although Mr. Trump initially expressed his support for a single-vote approach, he seemed to step back in recent weeks, making it clear that he supports the approval of his agenda – whichever approach is adopted.
