SpaceX rocket debris crashes into Poland
On Wednesday, around 03:30 GMT, the sky across Nordic Europe was illuminated by objects amplified by air in the flames.
“I immediately thought of a science fiction movie that looked like a force to attack,” Simon Eriksson, a worker at Malmo, told Swedish State Broadcasting Corporation.
The pyrotechnic technology is actually caused by the re-entry of the Space X Falcon 9 rocket into the Earth’s atmosphere. Denmark, Sweden has reported witnesses England.
The rocket then fell to Poland, and experts say it may have landed in Ukraine as well.
At 10:00 this morning local time (09:00 GMT), Adam Borucki was surprised to find what appeared to be a burnt tank in his Komorniki, Poland. Behind the warehouse, about 1.5 million by 1 million.
The debris appeared to have damaged the lamps in the warehouse yard.
Polaki, who works with Polish Space Agency Polsa, contacted the police to determine that the unidentified object was fragments of the Falcon 9 rocket made by Elon Musk’s company SpaceX.
“We are investigating the end result of the object in this position, but it is important that no one is hurt,” police spokesman Andrzej Borowiak said.
According to Polish police, similar debris were found in the forest near the Polish village.
Polsa confirmed that “the uncontrolled re-entry of the second phase of the Falcon 9 Rockets occurred between 04:46 and 04:48 on Poland on February 19, 2025.”

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is used to transport people and payloads into the Earth’s atmosphere. It is designed to be reused.
The rocket that produced this debris was launched by SpaceX from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California on February 1.
“The Earth’s atmosphere should be rented in a controlled manner and fall into the Pacific Ocean,” Harvard astrophysicist Dr. Jonathan McDowell told the BBC.
“But the engine failed. We’ve seen it spinning around the earth over the past few weeks, and we expect an uncontrolled re-entry today, and that’s what people see the sky burning.
“These debris pulled England at about 17,000 mph, then part of the Scandinavia, and then crashed into Eastern Europe at a few hundred miles per hour.”

Space debris of rockets and satellites several times a month Earth’s atmosphere. Usually, space debris are completely burned by the Earth’s atmosphere, but larger debris may fall on Earth. Dr. McDowell said it is rare to re-enter the large rockets without control and can be dangerous.
“We’ve been lucky so far, no one has been hurt, but the more we put into Earth’s orbit, the more likely our luck will run out.”
“This is the fourth recent incident with SpaceX Falcon, which has attracted attention. It looks like the engine failure is becoming more common.”
So far, large pieces of debris have been confirmed in Poland, but Dr. McDowell suspected that the debris had fallen into western Ukraine, where the light-like light in the sky was clearly visible.
He added: “This is a sign of how our civilization changes.”
