National Economic Dialogue to take place March 3rd and 4th
Under President John Dramani Mahama, the Ghanaian government is pleased to announce the national economic dialogue scheduled for March 3 to 4, 2025 at the Accra International Convention Centre .
This important gathering will provide Ghanaians with a platform to address pressing economic challenges and promote sustainable economic growth to facilitate viable solutions. President Mahama will host a keynote speech centered on “Reset Ghana: Building the Economy We Want.”
The initiative represents the fulfillment of President Mahama’s campaign commitments, even as citizens participate in discussions that shape their economic future. Dialogue will promote consensus and cooperation among participants in priority policy and structural reform.
The results of the forum are expected to begin a journey towards economic revitalization, ultimately enhancing business opportunities and improving living conditions across the country. It will bring together key stakeholders from the private sector, academia, public policy agencies and civil society organizations.
Participants will conduct detailed discussions through topical meetings focusing on key areas, such as:
- Achieve sustainable macroeconomic stability
- Promote economic transformation
- Promote the development of infrastructure
- Implement structural reform
- Ensure growth of private sector leadership
- Restore good governance and combat corruption
By establishing clear commitments and milestones, the forum aims to reset the economy and ensure long-term resilience and transformative growth to benefit all Ghanaians.
The Government has been firmly committed to constructive participation and collaboration as we strive to build the Ghana we want. The 2025 National Economic Dialogue aims to build consensus and promote cooperation among governments, as well as among key stakeholders in prioritizing policy and structural reform.
Participants will work to establish clear commitments and milestones to help reset the economy to long-term resilience and transformation.
