Amad Diallo: Man Utd forward could miss rest of season with ankle injury
Manchester United forward Amad Diallo sets a long spell on the sidelines with ankle ligament injury.
The 22-year-old Ivory Coast International is about his Instagram Account,,,,, External Injury was confirmed on Saturday.
United are still evaluating the full range of the problem, but Diallo will last for weeks and may not be back this season.
“It’s very disappointing to write this message at a critical moment of the season,” Diallo said in his post.
“Unfortunately, I’ll be out for a while due to injury. I’ll be stronger than ever!
For Manchester United’s tough season, Diallo’s table has been one of the few highlights, with the winger scoring six goals in the last 14 games.
In addition, 19-year-old England midfielder Kobbie Mainoo was also injured and would miss Sunday’s Premier League match at Tottenham Hotspur.
“It was a good week until we had some problems two days ago,” co-owner Ruben Amorim said in a press conference on Friday.
United ranked 13th in the Premier League before the Spurs, two points behind them.
