Charlotte Edwards wants to help England rebuild after Women’s Ashes drubbing

Fitness in England was questioned after former spinner Alex Hartley quits in the group stage at the T20 World Cup in October.
Although Coach Lewis admits that Australia is “more sporting” than England, he believes it is because of the climate and cultural differences between the two countries.
“If compared, they are more athletic and more appropriate,” Edwards said.
“That’s what we have to aspire to. Part of our work at the county level is to support players to become healthier and more athletic, so we can compete with Australia.”
