The Hundred: Southern Brave sale takes total value of eight teams to more than £900m
The total value of the South’s brave sale to the co-owners of the Indian Premier League team Delhi Capital increased the total value of the 800 teams to over £900 million.
GMR Group completed its takeover of host Hampshire last year and is therefore widely expected to take full control of the Brave in its last auction on Wednesday.
When pricing the entire franchise at about £98 million, the total value of the eight hundred franchises was about £920 million.
In 18 counties, the total funds raised by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and domestic competitions are about £550 million.
Now all trades enter an eight-week exclusive period, meaning they will be completed in the English season.
With Delhi controlling bravery, this means four out of the eight hundred teams are related to the IPL to fulfill the desire of the England and Wales Cricket Council to “integrate” investors.
The final auction began about two weeks ago, summarizing the sales process that began in September, with more than 100 interested people.
Surrey negotiated a £60 million price with the owner of the Mumbai Indian IPL for 49% Oval Invincible shares.
