Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 offers a unique super beauty in the color of abyss blue or grey. It’s thin, lightweight, and from a distance it looks like a MacBook competitor. Of course, when you look closely, the distance between the bone is more obvious, just as its chassis is made of plastic.
However, it’s a great option for someone who only needs a computer and doesn’t care about getting expensive or top-level. It comes with a 15.6-inch display that is quite sized, which is good enough for most people at 1080p. Additionally, on upgraded models (such as comments) is a responsive touch screen.
The keyboard belongs to a “good enough” camp because it does the job, but it’s not special. The key’s touch is a bit stiff, so it may not be a favorite for those who enter long posts. And there is no backlight either. There is at least one number. The touchpad is also OK. It is accurate and responsive, but not the smoothest touch.

When it comes to ports, you do get a nice classification like HDMI and SD card reader ports, neither of which are always on this computer. Of course, there are typical USB-C and USB-A ports and headphone jacks.
Finally, I do have some security features. That is, there is a fingerprint reader on the power button and a privacy shutter on the webcam.

When it comes to performance, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 comes in a slightly lower standard, as it doesn’t require demanding programs for demanding requirements like gaming or editing software (if you’re looking for this feature, there are a lot of other laptops to consider, as this Not one). What it needs to be done and done well enough is to handle daily tasks such as browsing, streaming, email, word processing, etc. It can do this. This laptop is priced for people who “just need a computer” at an affordable price.

During use, I was able to open 15 tabs in my browser, including some streaming, and when switching tabs, there was no big slowdown except splitting the secondary refresh. The cheapest configuration has a 6-core Intel Core 3 100U CPU and 8GB of RAM, and in just a few years it may start to slow down as it already has some weak internal devices. However, the comment configuration has a 10 core CPU and 16GB of RAM, so in my opinion, an additional life should be provided before starting to feel slow.
Since this is suitable for devices that look like a superbook, but more like a budget laptop, there are some compromises elsewhere. For example, the webcam is good enough, but at 720p @ 30 fps, the camera is not the sharpest or smoothest. Also, in the low-light settings, the image does have a little grain.
Even more shockingly, the audio is incredible. While this is typical for budget and mid-range laptops, it is worth mentioning. There aren’t many ways to have loose mid-grade quality in bass or high-end, like hearing things through your phone. Considering how many people are just streaming things to their laptops these days, it’s surprisingly not better.
Finally, it should be mentioned that, like most budget laptops, this comes with some bloatware.

- Decent but not very good battery life
- Fast charging on hand
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 has a benchmark of six hours and nearly 15 minutes and won no awards. If you need to do some work on the road, the length of time is enough, but not enough to spend the full workday without charge. And, with many thin and lightweight laptops (especially Ultrabooks (which happen to be more expensive overall)) can achieve quite low prices. The only laptops that really beat are gaming laptops, which also have to power dedicated graphics cards and older models, which you probably won’t compare to in the first place.
On the bright side, there is a quick charge on hand, so you can quickly get some extra juice on your excursions. After about 40 minutes, I can charge back up from 55% of 55%. So if you want to go to work without restrictions in front of a TV, you have enough battery life on hand and get more for a quick break.
