Judge-led inquiry into Nottingham attacks announced
Public investigation into Nottingham attacks has been announced.
Barnaby Webber, 19, Grace O’Malley-Kumar, 19, and Ian Coates, 65, were stabbed to death on June 13, 2023 in Valdo Calocane, Nottingham.
The case led to Calocane’s sentence to a hospital order in January 2024, sparking a number of comments, including an investigation into the mental health care he received.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer told the family of the person who died in the attack would investigate “in a few weeks.”
