‘Embarrassing – Philippe Clement must go’ – fans react to Rangers exit
Andrew: One of the most humiliating failures of my life. Changes need to be made now.
Annon: Absolutely embarrassing. We have fallen back since Philippe Clement came in. His same excuse, players would say they regret being disappointed again. It was a regrettable moment since Steven Gerrard left because the board did not support him. It just can’t continue. All our history is gone, it all depends on the board, management and these players.
Robert: This failure was one of the worst results in Wanderer’s history. This does sum up our season of a game. The performance is frightening. Yesterday’s complacency. The team thinks they just need to show up. I can’t see how Clement can survive. Very bad. Dominate the property, but can do nothing about it.
Andrew: Rangers don’t have natural leaders or real class players to turn around. Their game style is predictable and lacks pace. The team does work harder against the Rangers, but this should be seen as a motivation, not an excuse.
Billy: This is Clement’s first time. Any Rangers should be able to win this game. Bring back Stevie G.
Eric: If left-back Ridvan Yilmaz is the best choice for us when we are targeting, we will have serious trouble. When he fired, he could barely put the ball in the stands, it didn’t matter to the target. Ross McCausland should have slap his transfer request this morning first.
Gael: Ibrox really has nothing. We have players and managers, but I feel there are dark behaviors. We seem to be in financial trouble again and I worry that we are on the wrong path.
Kevin: Inverted, lazy, arrogant players, they thought we’d go this game. The manager is not good enough. Fans have been tired of excuses. Start with a useless, ignorant manager and his group of clowns.
Annon: If the board has any respect for the fans, Clement must go. The club is moving backwards. Even with the support of the union bears, they brought shameful behavior to the club – for the fan to perform well, they need to be banned from playing several games.
Annon: Disrespect for Queens Park, but the Wanderer is terrible. Philippe Clement came to the Rangers and brought back the club. But, sadly, he and the team were found wanting. Poverty, a pitiful manifestation. Maybe he should consider his contract.
Paul: Clement thinks it’s possible to throw a few inexperienced players to think “This is Queens Park, we’ll win this”. A man comes out of the depths. When he loses the game, “we have the most shots, have, corners” is always his excuse. I’ve never heard him say “I take full responsibility” to failure. The bucks stopped.
