CFPB leaders announce resignations after stop-work order | Global News Avenue

Two senior leaders Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Acting Director Russell Vought announced his resignation and directed all employees Stop working.

According to an email obtained by CNBC, the agency’s director of oversight director Lorelei Salas in a memo sent earlier Tuesday, law enforcement director Eric Halperin said they could no longer hold their respective roles after Vought orders.
