President Boakai Suspends National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL) President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pending Investigation
President Joseph Nyuma Boakai (Sr).
The president’s decision was to recommend Mrs. Dennis’ suspension and an investigation into the allegations following a resolution by the board of directors of Nocal.
Mrs. Dennis was ordered to hand over all government property to a temporary team led by Mr. Fabian Michael Lai, Vice President of Operations at Nocal, who will temporarily oversee the company’s business.
The Liberian Government remains committed to transparency, accountability and good governance in all sectors, especially in the management of natural resources in the country.
An investigation into the allegations against Mrs. Dennis has been ordered.
