Women’s EuroBasket: Great Britain beat Denmark in final group game
In Copenhagen’s final group match, the UK is one step closer to qualifying for women’s European shoes in 2025.
Hannah Jump scored 20 points, while Savannah Wilkinson added 13 points.
GB will have to wait until all the matches on Sunday are in the race and hope they are one of the four best runners-ups to confirm their place in the June game.
However, due to differences in strengths with other teams, they should be safely qualified.
GB guaranteed second place in Group D on Thursday, beating Estonia 93-42, with Denmark losing to Sweden’s team leader.
Sweden has qualified with France, Spain, Belgium, Türkiye, Serbia and Italy.
