President Ramaphosa to participate at the joint Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) – East Africa Community (EAC) Heads of State and Government Summit on the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived at Dar Es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania on the morning of 8 February 2025, on February 8, 2025, on February 8, 2025 On Saturday, we attended the Joint Development Community of Southern Africa (SADC) – East African Community (EAC) National and Government Summit, the State of Security in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
They agreed to meet anxiously after their respective extraordinary summits last month.
At the joint African Federation summit ahead of the meeting of senior officials and foreign ministers held on 7 February 2025 and 7 July 2025.
The extraordinary African Federation summit (Extraordinary African Federation summit) held last month calls for the African Development Agenda organ in political, defense and security cooperation to participate in conflicts with all state and non-state parties during the ceasefire, to protect lives and promote stable humanitarian support for communities affected by armed conflict.
It also urged the dialogue coordinated efforts of political parties and diplomatic leaders participating in the conflict, including supporting the Luanda process, Monusco and others, to restore peace and security in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
President Ramaphosa is accompanied by Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Ronald Lamola, Ministry of Defense and military veteran Angie Motshekga, and senior government officials.
