Netball Nations Cup: England to face South Africa in final after beating Uganda
England defeated Uganda 59-48 to enter London’s Netball National Cup final.
The Roses defeated Malawi’s Copper Box Arena 58-55 earlier on Saturday against South Africa on Sunday.
England is Nearly defeated 61-59 The two sides met during the cycle phase of last week’s game.
England head coach Jess Thirlby told Sky Sports that her team was “ready” in the final.
She added: “It’s a nice circle to see if I can apply for my studies last week and I have real confidence in the group.”
Although this is their sixth final, England has never won the National Cup.
At the beginning of the final quarter, the game was 42-42, but England scored 50-43 in a row.
Uganda cannot increase with the pace of increase, while Roses will win with nine goals.
England – South Africa final is 15:00 GMT, while Malawi and Uganda will face each other in third place at 13:00.
