San Francisco 49ers president touts AI as key to scouting | Global News Avenue

President of San Francisco 49ERS Brock Purdy, 18-game season, the impact of AI on player science

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, the last pick in the 2022 National Football League draft, has become synonymous with flaws in the NFL player evaluation. Al Guido, the team’s president, hopes his organization can rely on artificial intelligence to improve talent assessments in football and football.

Purdy, who led the 49ers to the Super Bowl last year, dropped to the 262 pick, partly because the scout metrics failed to identify some of the characteristics that made him successful in the quarterback.

Guido’s reconnaissance of football is even more difficult in football matches. Participated in dozens of competitive leagues.

“You can grow up anywhere and be really a Premier League team,” said Guido. “So, from advanced statistics to the Scouts department, to what you define good players for all the different metrics,” he said. Looks, what do you think of?”

Guido said that combining traditional reconnaissance with “science” to football and the NFL has become the core purpose of the 49ers evaluation process.

Purdy will sign a contract this off-season. Guido refused to provide a timeline for a new deal, although he did say: “I’m sure this will resolve.”
