South Africa: Statement on further engagements with the United States of America (USA)
The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation pointed out that Mr. Rubio, Minister of the United States of America, sent a tweet.
Minister Ramora said: “We are a sovereign and democratic nation committed to human dignity, equality and rights, and advocate for non-racism and non-sexual behavior while putting our constitution and the rule of law at the forefront.
No arbitrary deprivation of land/private property. This law is similar to outstanding field laws.
Unity/Ubuntu promotes collective problem solving. Our G20 presidency is limited to not only climate change, but also to fair treatment in southern countries around the world, ensuring an equal global system for all.
These are important principles that we are willing to pursue and participate in the United States. ”
