Six Nations: England pick fly-half Fin Smith to face France
English The bold fly half switch has been confirmed Fin Smith started at 10, with Marcus Smith moving to the defender against France on Saturday.
Fin Smith will start the test for the first time after seven appearances on the bench.
His Northampton teammate Ollie Sleightholme took part in the wing-injured Cadan Murley and took the Saints back row, up to four, and Wings Tommy Freeman and Scrum-Half also started.
Tom Willis ranked eighth in the only other changes to starting XV as Ben Earl moved to the open side wing while Ben Curry fell to the bench superior.
Former captain Jamie George returns with injury and replaces it with the versatile Elliot Daly.
Freddie Steward, who had quit the matchday team of 23 teams after 15 of his defeat to Ireland last weekend.
