Emma Raducanu receives wildcard entry to Qatar Open
Emma Raducanu has obtained wildcards to enter the Qatar Open, the first WTA 1,000 event this year.
The UK ranked second and World No. 56 arrived in the third round of the Australian Open before being beaten by IGA Swiatek.
Since then, Nick Cavaday has stepped down for health reasons and the 22-year-old has lost a back-to-back game.
At the opening ceremony of the Singapore Open, she was beaten by Spain’s Cristina Bucsa and then lost to former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova at the Abu Dhabi Open.
The Qatar Open will be held in Doha from February 9 to 15.
