Egypt: President El-Sisi Meets with Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

A spokesman for presidential position, Mohamed El She Shennawy, said the meeting solved the progress of the construction work related to educational institutions related to the Ministry of Higher Education and Science Research. The meeting also reviewed the state’s academic and scientific efforts of the state for the development of universities and research institutions. In this regard, President El-SISI has been briefly introduced in the work progress of the establishment of a national university throughout the Republic to adapt to more and more students in higher education institutions. The policies of Egyptian University are consistent.
President El-SISI’s efforts made in the automation of digital transformation archives and education and research services in universities and other institutions belonging to the Ministry of Higher Education and Science Research. The focus is to enhance the use of technology in the process of education, and use digital tools to improve education content and student interaction.
President El-Sisi made instructions to further develop higher education infrastructure and buildings, and continue to implement digital systems and plans to modernize and enhance higher education and all scientific research areas. This is part of the state’s strategy to improve the quality of university and graduate education and scientific research. It maintains the consistency of the needs of Egypt’s higher education and scientific research with the requirements of the labor market and development requirements. This will give priority to the scientific and application -related fields and research institutions related to technology, artificial intelligence, digitalization and engineering -related education and research institutions.
