Standout African Moments in Grammys History
Miriam Makeba is a key figure in the history of African music. In her 76 years, she promoted African culture worldwide. The Grammy’s awards ceremony has increasingly recognized African music. In recent years, the best African music performance category has been launched. This year, REMA and TEMS were nominated as the best global music album, and TEMS also won the best R & B song.
