Petra Kvitova: Two-time Wimbledon champion announces return after birth of son
Two Wimbledon Champions Petra Kvitova announced that her son would return to the sport after birth.
KVITOVA, who ranked second in the world for 15 months, has left ten months and finally competed in the Chinese Open in October 2023.
The 34 -year -old Czech won Wimbledon in 2011 and 2014, and gave birth to his son in July 2024.
In a video on Instagram, Cvitova said: “After leaving the tennis and taking my baby boy Petr, I will return to the tennis tour.”
“I really miss tennis, I miss the game, so I really look forward to returning. I can’t wait.”
Cvitova said she planned to return at the Austin Open in Austin, Texas on February 24.
She won 31 WTA singles champions and recently won in Miami and Berlin in 2023.
