The host of the eight teams has received 51 % of its shares in their franchise. They can sell or reserve, and the European Central Bank subsequently sells the remaining 49 %.
The eight masters are Lord (Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC)/London Spirit), the oval/Oval Invincibles, Southampton (Hampshire/SOUTHERN Brave), and Cardiff , Trent Bridge (Nottinghamshire/Trent Rockets ), Edgbaston (Warwickshire/Birmingham Phoenix), Old Trafford (Lancashire/Manchester Originals) and Headingley.
Among the 51 % of the landlords given, they can retain everyone or choose to sell all or part of the shares.
From the total funds raised, 10 % will enter the entertainment game directly. 49 % of sales income will be assigned between 18 first -class counties and MCC. If the landlord decides to sell some or all shares, it will allocate it to more than 10 % between 18 counties and MCC.
It is expected that the upcoming 2025 season will see it as a “transition”. Some team names, colors or brands may change in 2026.
