Bishop of Liverpool retires after sexual assault allegations

Bishop Liverpool announced his retirement after his sexual assault and harassment allegations.
Dr. Right Rev. John Perumbalaath said that he did not want to be “distracted” after the two women’s claims were outlined in the news survey of Channel 4.
He said, “This is not a resignation of fault or acknowledging responsibility.”
It is said that a woman was attacked in the Cherish Diocese of Essex, between 2019 and 2023, the pastor was the bishop of Bradwell.
Police believe that no further actions were needed, and the England Church said that the investigation did not find the case.
