Zimbabwe’s War Veterans Turn Against President Mnangagwa
The Veterans veterans of Zimbabwe were once a firm supporter of President Emmerson Mnangagwa, asking him to resign, accusing him of his skirt relationship, corruption and poor economic management. At the press conference, Runesu Geza, a blessing of the veteran and the blessing of the veteran and a member of the Central Committee of the Banu-PF Central Committee, criticized Mnangagwa and failed to make a promise after he came to power in 2017. Geza emphasized the worsening corruption and difficulties and pointed out: “Enough.” However, the Zanu-PF spokesman Farai Marapira regarded these requirements as “rogue roar”. Mnangagwa’s resignation appealed to emphasize the division of the ruling party, and some factions oppose his bid for his third term in 2028. Analysts believe that the frustration of veterans reflects a broader dissatisfaction, but noticed that the future of politics is still uncertain.
