South Africa: Message of goodwill by President Cyril Ramaphosa on the commencement of the Chinese Lunar New Year 2025
On behalf of the government and the people of South Africa, I am very happy to convey our warm praise to the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the people of the People’s Republic of China on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
We extended good wishes to the Chinese community in South Africa, including Chinese citizens living in or currently visiting our beautiful country. Similarly, we hope that the new year can bring success to our Chinese trade and investment partners, and they make important contributions to our economy.
We are confident that under the leadership of his President Xi Jinping, the Year of the Snake will maintain the status of the People’s Republic of China as a strong force of goodness, the source of wisdom and the prosperity of the global national families.
May the celebration of spring celebrations and the rebirth of nature are the symbols of a closer relationship between our two countries under the comprehensive strategic partnership between our two new eras.
