President Ramkalawan Leads Strategic Meeting on 13th Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l’Océan Indien (CJSOI) Games Preparations

Yesterday afternoon, President Wavel Ramkalawan presided over a senior meeting and reviewed the preparation of the 13th De La Jeunes Sports Del’océanindien (CJSOI) game. Sports competitions in the area are scheduled to be held in Seychelles from August 1st to 10th, 2025.

The meeting brings together the main interests of the organizational committee to deal with key challenges and ensure the smooth implementation of the competition. President Ramkalawan evaluated its initial suggestions and quickly put forward feasible solutions, especially about infrastructure upgrades and athlete training needs. In order to reduce the interference caused by continuous renovation, the president suggested to replace the preparation timetable for athletes to replace the training venue.

Marc Arissol, chief executive officer of the National Sports Commission (NSC), provides the progress update of the milestone of the organization. Although major progress has been made in logistics and activity plans, Mr. Arissol emphasized the sustainable development of sports facilities and participants’ accommodation.

Albert Duncan, CEO of the State Youth Committee of Seychelles (SNYC), assured the participants that the preparations of SNYC’s authority, including the opening ceremony and closing ceremony, and the “VOLET VOLET of VOLET, focusing on youth, The Jeunesse “plan is still on track.

The CJSOI game is the key activity of the Indian Ocean, which has promoted the development of youth, regional cooperation and cultural exchanges. This year’s version will call young athletes from member states to celebrate excellence.

The participants include key officials, including Youth, Sports Minister and Family Marie-Célinezialor; the chief secretary of Sports Ralph Jean Louis; and representatives of NSC and SNYC. The famous participants include Lucas Georges (company contact and game director, NSC), ALDO ROSE (NSC senior project officer), Ronald Wong (NSC), JoseTte Cadence (SNYC) , Francois Magloire (SNYC senior compliance officer, SNYC senior compliance personnel)), Faisal Naiken (SNYC planning officer) and Jude Commettant.

The meeting emphasized the government’s commitment to provide successful and unforgettable games.
