Fubo Increases Plan Prices and RSN Fee in the US
Live TV streaming services fubo is raising subscription prices for its U.S. English plans. Citing programming costs, the company is implementing the changes for new customers effective immediately, while existing subscribers will see the new charges in the next billing cycle on or before February 10. The price increase comes weeks later Fubo and Disney announce merger plan Their live TV business, which includes Hulu’s live TV offering, and Fubo intend to launch new sports streaming packages.
Before the price increase, Fubo ranged from $80 to $90 per month, depending on the tier, plus additional fees for access to regional sports networks. Notably, its Essential and Pro plans are now priced at $85 per month (previously $80 per month), making their basic plans higher than those of rivals YouTube TV and Hulu Plus Live TV, which both cost $83 Dollar.
RSN fees have also increased by $1 for all customers, but vary based on where you live, according to Fubo. For example, if you pay $12 per month, the new rate is $13 per month. If your package includes sporting events, this fee will be factored into your subscription price.
The chart below outlines Fubo’s monthly costs before and after the new price increase. While the streamer no longer offers luxury or premium packages to new customers, Rates for these tiers have also increased.
Fubo Monthly Pricing
old price | New rates for January 2025 | |
basic | $80 | $85 |
Professional version | $80 | $85 |

Fubo’s Essential package offers over 200 channels and cloud DVR, but does not include RSNs, while its Pro package offers over 200 channels, unlimited DVR and RSN access. Last year, the service dropped Warner Bros. Discovery Channel including TBS, TNT, HGTV and Food Network. The streamer offers free trials and discounts to new customers who want to sign up now.
