Australian Open 2025 results: Hewett, Reid & Lapthorne win titles
The British Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid won the Australian open -air wheel chair doubles for the sixth consecutive time, while Andy Lapthorne (Andy Lapthorne) is four times that of Winning in the doubles final.
The number one seed, Hewett and Reid, defeated Spain’s Daniel Caverzaschi and Stephane Houdet in Melbourne Park.
This is their 22nd Grand Slam champion as a partnership.
Lapthorne and Dutch Sam Schroder defeated the Netherlands’ Niels Vink (Niels Vink) and Gay Sassn, Israel, with a 6-16-4 victory. (Guy Sasson) won four wheelchairs with a 6-16-4 victory.
Lapthorne, 34, now won eight doubles championship in Melbourne.
Lapthorne is a huge West Ham fan. He said that he received the news of the players in his final and hoped to return to the UK in time to watch Sunday in Aston on Sunday in Aston Aston Villa’s game.
He said: “I think my flight will be at 11 pm tomorrow. If I do not delay, I will get in the car directly and drive to the villa park.”
“If not, I hope I have been on vacation for a week. Maybe I will show the trophy on the training ground and know some boys.
