According to a recent survey from travel insurance marketplace Squaremouth, people are eager to travel in 2025, but they are feeling the pressure of rising prices and want to get the most for less.
More than half of respondents said they expect travel costs to be higher this year than in 2024. Squaremouth data shows the average trip cost is expected to exceed $7,200, a 24% increase from 2024. The company expects the average cost of international travel to be close to $10,000, an 11% increase from last year.
