Princeton In Africa 25th Anniversary Gala
Princeton Africa announces its 25th anniversary gala, which will be held on Wednesday, April 23, at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City. Over the past 25 years, Princeton in Africa has been deeply committed to developing young leaders committed to Africa’s progress. The organization connects highly skilled, dedicated and visionary people with Africa’s most influential organizations that are driving change in education, healthcare, humanitarian aid, technology, agriculture, development and more. The Princeton University in Africa One-Year Scholarship Program is open to students from any college or university in the United States or any university in Africa, including citizens of any African country.
This event will celebrate the many individuals, organizations and communities who have contributed to Princeton’s successful growth and development in Africa over the past 25 years. In addition, the ceremony will recognize two outstanding laureates, both of whom have demonstrated a significant commitment to the development of the continent and African affairs: Meg whitmanformer U.S. Ambassador to Kenya, Gbenga Heyebodeco-founder of the renowned African law firm Aluko & Oyebode. also, Mary Maker,,,, South Sudanese refugee education activist and UNHCR goodwill ambassador will MC MC.
