Play Sniper Elite: Resistance and More on Xbox Game Pass Soon
Sniper Elite is an award-winning stealth tactical shooter series based on Forbesglobal sales have exceeded 30 million units. On January 30, some Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play the latest entry in the series, Sniper Elite: Resistance, on day one of its release.

Flock (Console)
available: January 22
Microsoft brings this light-hearted multiplayer game to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers Julyand Game Pass Standard Subscribers can also play it soon. This game is about the joy of flying and catching precious flying creatures with friends. You start with a small flock of hovering sheep (they’re birds, fish, snakes – who knew?), but as you explore and encounter new and exotic creatures, you can attract them to join your flock.
Colossus: Rampage Edition
Available: January 22
Choose your character, team up with friends and compete against others in this 5v5 hero shooter, e.g. League of Legends or Overwatch. Use strategy and skill to take down the opposing team’s Guardians while protecting your own. This is the final premium version of the hero shooter Gigantic, bringing new heroes and maps to all players.
Kunitsujin: Path of the Goddess (Console)
Available: January 22
This game is available to Game Pass Standard subscribers a few months later Microsoft is bringing it to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. A mountain is covered in filth, and it’s your responsibility to cleanse the land. The game is a unique Japanese action strategy game that follows two different day and night gameplay cycles. During the day, you cleanse the village and prepare it for nightfall. Then, once the sun sets, you must protect the damsel from enemies known as “Seethes.” It’s up to you to restore peace to the mountain and its village.
Magically Delicious (Console)
available: January 22
Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play the game from then on JulyGame Pass Standard subscribers will also be able to get in on the fun soon. Cook magical meals, explore new towns and serve delicious meals to the locals in this wholesome pixel art platformer. You play as Flora, who wants to be a real witch and opens a shop in a port town filled with whimsical characters and some mischievous opposition members. Don’t let them get in the way of cooking, shopping and making friends with the locals.
Chia (Console)
available: January 22
Game Pass Standard subscribers should get ready to explore the tropical archipelago in this action-adventure game. Navigate, climb and glide through the environment in a beautiful physics-driven sandbox experience. Oh, and did I mention you can control any animal or object you come across? That means if you want to swim like a turtle, roll like a tire, or float like a beach ball, you can.

Game Pass Standard subscribers need to put on their detective hats, because there’s been a murder — more like 12 murders, actually. You play as an 18th century detective investigating these murders spanning fifty years. In this mystery game, you must investigate the crime scene, deduce the motives behind the murders, and uncover the true identity of the killer.
Starbound (cloud and console)
available: January 22
PC Game Pass subscribers can already play the intergalactic action game, and Microsoft is bringing it to Game Pass Standard and Xbox Cloud Gaming (in beta). In this game you decide how to play and what your end goal is. You can embark on a space adventure to save the galaxy, explore dungeons and planets filled with strange creatures and fauna, or settle down to farm the land. The choice is yours, but growing some space produce and raising alien farm animals sounds pretty good to me.
eternal beach
available: January 28
This debut fantasy game comes from Yellow Brick Games, an independent studio founded by industry veterans who have developed Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Assassin’s Creed, and Watch Dogs ” and other beloved games. You’ll use powerful weapons and magic to fight giant monsters. Don’t be afraid to experiment with your magical abilities. You can light a tree on fire and hurl it at your enemies, or erect a wall of ice to block incoming attacks. So you may not be without a sword and shield in combat, but you’re not without options.

Orcs return in this latest entry in the tower defense series, but your goal remains the same: kill the last orc. Each hero in this game has his or her own unique playstyle, so choose the one that suits you best. And work with others to take down the chaotic horde in four-player co-op mode.

This unique game takes you on an emotional journey through a surreal landscape full of twists and surprises. You play as a little girl and her shadow, who learn to work together and evolve together to break through your dreams. You’ll use unique light and time mechanics to solve puzzles, and use these same features to get out of difficult situations.
Sniper Elite: Resistance
available: January 30
The latest entry in the popular series takes you into Nazi-occupied France, far from the front lines of World War II. You’ll work with the French Resistance to discover and destroy the weapons the Nazis hope will guarantee victory. But you don’t have to take on this task alone. You can play the campaign with friends in co-op mode, and then you can take on others in online multiplayer. If competition isn’t your style, join forces with friends in Survival Mode to take down waves of Nazis and enemies.
“Citizen Sleeper 2: Star Vector”
available: January 31
The sequel to one of 2022’s most popular role-playing games has been released on Game Pass on day one. You play as a Sleeper, a person in an artificial body that mimics the human mind, trying to escape the corporation that created you and the gang that wants to control you. In this sci-fi game, you’ll commandeer a ship, recruit a crew, and sign contracts in an effort to build a better future for yourself.
Far Cry New Dawn
available: February 4
Returning to Hope County, Montana, the game is set 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5. The global nuclear apocalypse that occurred at the end of the game’s predecessor devastated Hope County, mutating both animals and plants. A group of men known as the Highwaymen threaten to take over the last resources, and it’s up to you to stop this group and their leaders, the Twins.
The game is leaving Game Pass
While Game Pass subscribers will soon be able to play the games, Microsoft will remove six games from the service on January 31st. So you still have some time to complete the campaign and complete any side quests before having to purchase the games separately.
