Australian Open 2025 results: Henry Patten and Olivia Nicholls reached mixed doubles semi-finals
British pair Henry Patten and Olivia Nicholls have reached the Australian Open mixed doubles semi-finals after defeating Irina Khromacheva and Jackson Withrow.
Patten and Nicholls defeated the Russian pair 6-2 6-2 to reach the Grand Slam semi-finals as a pair for the first time.
They will face Australian wildcards Kimberley Birrell and John Patrick Smith for a place in Saturday’s final.
Patten is still competing in the men’s doubles competition, where he and Finnish partner Harry Hliovara will face France’s Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Monaco’s Hugo Nice in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool also play the German pair of Kevin Kravitz and Tim Puitz in the men’s doubles on Wednesday.
