Man City’s Erling Haaland ‘confident club know what they’re doing’ with Premier League charges
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland says the allegations facing the club will have no impact on him signing a new long-term contract.
Haaland has signed a nine-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2034, making him one of the highest-paid athletes in the world.
City are awaiting the outcome of a disciplinary hearing over alleged breaches of 115 Premier League financial rules, which could result in points deductions or even relegation.
