Watch World Indoor Bowls Championships on the BBC
The prestigious World Indoor Bowling Championships will be held at the Potters Resorts in Hopeton-on-Sea, outside Great Yarmouth, for the 27th time, and BBC Sport will begin coverage on January 20.
Potters is to bowling what the Crucible Theater is to snooker, where the best players come to play.
The favorite to win the Open singles title this year is defending champion Stuart Anderson, who defeated fellow Scot Alex Marshall in last January’s final.
Other titles up for grabs include open doubles, mixed doubles and women’s singles, with reigning Suffolk champion Catherine Rednall looking to add to her tally of six world titles.
