Microsoft(Microsoft Corporation) brought the co-pilot AI Microsoft 365 App Assistant for consumers and has increased subscription prices for the bundle for the first time since its launch in 2013.

The move gives Microsoft 365 subscribers access to artificial intelligence features in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote that can generate content when prompted, the company said in a blog post Thursday. Subscribers will receive a monthly allocation of AI credits for completing these tasks.

Microsoft 365 has also added an app called Microsoft Designer, which can use AI to edit images and create new ones.

With Copilot, Microsoft 365 Personal and Home subscriptions will increase by $3 per month, to $9.99 and $12.99 respectively, or $99.99 and $129.99 per year. Family subscriptions accommodate up to six people.

On Thursday, Microsoft shares fell slightly by 0.4% to close at $424.58. Their shares are up nearly 8% in the past 12 months.
