“While I have the utmost respect for my manager who has supported me throughout this issue, I am disappointed that the club have not yet publicly supported me, which leaves me confused and disappointed.
“I was never asked if I was okay, instead I was told that the silence was due to a desire to keep the matter private. I cannot agree or condone this.
“If these incidents were kept ‘internal,’ they would never have been addressed. I hope everyone understands why I am speaking out.”

Ray joins Tamworth, who sit 16th in the fifth tier of English football, in 2023. The forward has also played for Hartlepool United, Southend United and Banbury United.
