Chris Wreh: Tamworth forward refuses to play over reaction to racism after Tottenham FA Cup tie

“If these incidents were kept ‘internal,’ they would never have been addressed. I hope everyone understands why I am speaking out.”

BBC Sport has contacted Tamworth Football Club for comment.

Ray joins Tamworth, who sit 16th in the fifth tier of English football, in 2023. The forward has also played for Hartlepool United, Southend United and Banbury United.
