Tyrone McKenna to take on unbeaten Harlem Eubank in March fight
Belfast welterweight Tyrone McKenna will face Harlem Eubank in Brighton on March 7.
McKenna will return to action after beating Dylan Moran in last month’s All-Ireland showdown.
Eubank Maintaining an undefeated record Defeated Nurali Erdogan in Newcastle in November.
Eubank, 31, who is Chris’ cousin, said: “McKenna is a fan-favorite, aggressive boxer who has fought at the elite level in the world – this is a truly exciting fight. Exciting game, and that’s what I came into this game for.” Eubank Jr.
“There is also a rich history between Eubanks and the Fighting Irish. On March 7, I will be adding a new chapter.”
McKenna was delighted to play against the nephew of Chris Eubank Sr. at the Brighton Center.
“I’m salivating at the prospect of going into Eubank’s hometown on March 7th, meeting him in the center of the ring and getting into a fight,” he added.
“Harlem has never faced anyone like me in his career, not even close, and when the leather starts flying he’ll soon realize there’s no easy way out.”
