Multiple wildfires is wreaking havoc across the greater Los Angeles area, destroying homes, businesses and landscapes.
Before and after images show the impact of the fire on the city. The Palisades Fire, the largest in the region, destroyed more than a thousand structures in the affluent Pacific Palisades community west of Malibu. The Eaton Fire is the second largest fire burning near Pasadena, north of Los Angeles.
Smaller fires, including the Hurst, Lydia and Sunset fires, also broke out across the vast county. Firefighters have contained the Sunset Fire, and as of Thursday afternoon, both the Hurst and Lydia fires were partially contained.
